Ffion Seymour – Baby and Toddler Sleep Consultant

My name is Ffion, and I live in Shropshire with my husband and two children. I hold a BA Honours degree in Early Childhood Studies and have worked in the charity sector for 12 years. Now, I am a Certified Sleep Consultant, dedicated to supporting families like yours.
I know firsthand how it feels to be sleep-deprived, anxious, and frustrated, worrying that you’re not being the best parent or partner you can be because of sheer exhaustion. While it’s incredible how we adapt to functioning on so little sleep, it takes a toll on our mental well-being, health, and relationships.
My journey into sleep teaching began when I was completely drained from multiple night wakings with my daughter, who could only fall asleep while feeding. She would barely nap longer than 40 minutes in her cot, and any attempt to transfer her from my arms would result in her waking up almost instantly. My mental health was suffering, and so were my relationships with my husband and friends.
It took me months to realise I couldn’t continue this way. Bedtime had become a source of stress and anxiety, and I knew both my daughter and I deserved better sleep. That’s when I sought the help of a sleep consultant—and within just a few nights, everything changed. We were all sleeping soundly, and I felt more energised to enjoy life again. I couldn’t believe how quickly it worked and wished I had done it sooner. My daughter was happier and thriving with the rest she needed.
When my daughter was 20 months old, our son arrived, and sleep became elusive once more. While my husband and daughter slept peacefully, I was back to being up every couple of hours. But this time, I knew it wouldn’t last forever. By the time my son was four months old, I’d had enough of surviving on fumes. I pulled together my own knowledge, trusted my instincts, and sleep taught him myself — and it worked. Finally, we all started sleeping again.
This experience inspired me to create Seymour Sleep, a service dedicated to helping other parents in the same situation I once faced. As a Sleep Consultant, I use only responsive sleep teaching methods—no “cry it out.” I work with families 1:1 to achieve their sleep goals in a supportive and compassionate way.
My mission is to empower tired parents to feel confident in their ability to help their children (and themselves) achieve restful, restorative sleep. Together, we can make it happen—because everyone deserves to Seymour Sleep!
My Values
Step 1
I understand your struggles and frustrations, and I will create an approach tailored to you and your family’s needs.
Step 2
Your Content Goes HereI will listen to you with empathy and without judgment, be truthful, provide encouragement and support, and celebrate every achievement, no matter how small.
Step 3
I will never suggest leaving your baby to ‘Cry It Out.’ Responding to a baby’s cries fosters comfort and reduces stress for both the baby and caregivers.
Step 4
I will listen and be understanding if you need to move at a slower pace while following your plan
My Core Values (a.k.a. what you can count on from me)
This is about your family, not a one-size-fits-all fix.
I don’t do cookie-cutter routines. I get to know you, your child, your values, and your chaos — and build a sleep plan that actually works for your real life (not some mythical, always-calm, never-sticky Pinterest version of it).
You’ll be heard, supported, and never judged.
Your Content Goes HereWhether you’re running on fumes or second-guessing everything, I’ll be your steady voice of calm. I’ll listen with compassion, tell you the truth kindly, cheer you on every step — and celebrate the heck out of the wins (even the teeny ones, like a nap that lasted longer than your coffee!).
No Cry-It-Out. Full stop.
I will never ask you to leave your child to cry alone. Babies and toddlers need connection, comfort, and responsive care — especially when learning new sleep skills. You can support better sleep without shutting down your instincts or your child’s emotions.
We go at your pace — not anyone else’s.
There’s no rush, no pressure, and no “you should be further along by now.” Whether you’re making big moves or baby steps, I’ll meet you where you are and walk with you — because slow progress is still progress.
My Commitment to You
Seymour Sleep was born out of my own 3am breakdowns, tears in the nursery, and desperate Googling under the duvet. I’ve been there — and now I’m here to help you find your way out of that fog, too.
As a Certified Sleep Consultant, I only use responsive, respectful sleep strategies — no “Cry-It-Out”, no ignoring your instincts, no pressure to parent in a way that doesn’t feel right. I work with you 1:1 to create a sleep plan that feels doable, kind, and aligned with your family.
Whether you’re completely shattered and stuck, or just want to start off strong with your newborn, I’ve got a package for that. My Little Dreamland sessions are all about setting up healthy sleep habits from day one — no drama, just gentle guidance.
My mission?
To help exhausted parents feel calm, confident, and in control again.
To remind you that you’re not failing — you’re just missing the right support.
And to help your little one (and you!) finally Seymour Sleep.
